Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB), known in Indonesia as Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) is an important effort in improving public health through behavioral changes at the household level. This study aims to describe the PHBS of households in the Sempor II Community Health Center working area in 2025. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The research sample was all households in the Sempor II Community Health Center working area totaling 7,521 households using a total sampling technique. The data used are secondary data from the 2025 PHBS data collection. Data analysis was carried out descriptively using frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that the coverage of household data collection reached 100%. The achievement of PHBS households was 99.0%, with most households in the main and plenary strata. The PHBS indicators with the highest achievement were handwashing with soap and tooth brushing (92.9%), while the lowest indicators were pregnancy checks (80.0%), non-smoking behavior (80.9%), and physical activity (81.0%). In general, the level of household PHBS independence is considered good, but there is still variation between indicators, indicating that PHBS implementation is not yet fully equitable across all aspects of health behavior. This indicates that although quantitatively PHBS achievement is very high, the quality and consistency of behavior still need to be improved. Therefore, strengthening health promotion, ongoing education, and routine monitoring and evaluation are needed to ensure PHBS implementation is not only optimal numerically but also sustainable in daily life
