Plagiarism
Managistra screens all submissions to prevent plagiarism. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 25% will be considered unacceptable and may be rejected.
Editorial Actions
If plagiarism is detected, the Editor-in-Chief and editorial board will determine appropriate actions based on the severity, including:
- Minor plagiarism → revision required
- Moderate plagiarism → rejection with warning
- Severe plagiarism → rejection and possible submission ban
Additional Provisions
- Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their manuscripts.
- Repeated cases of severe plagiarism may result in a permanent ban from submission.
- This policy also applies to self-plagiarism. Authors must properly cite their previously published work.
Overlap classification:
- Minor plagiarism: limited overlap (e.g., methods section)
- Moderate plagiarism: partial reuse (10–50%)
- Severe plagiarism: substantial overlap (>50%), including identical figures or text
If a manuscript significantly overlaps with another submission or publication, Managistra may notify the other journal and treat the case as serious misconduct.
Use of previously published material (including conference papers or translated works) must be properly disclosed, cited, and accompanied by permission from the copyright holder. The editor reserves the right to reject such submissions.
